We would be happy to have you join us in making this festival happen. Despite the fact that we've hosted this festival for so many years, it still takes many months of planning and organization by the committee and at least 70 volunteers to make it happen when the time comes.

Planning and Organization
Around December, the committee begins meeting to discuss the upcoming festival. About this time we make sure that fund raising is underway and updates are made to the website and booth application forms. Moving on from there we make sure that we have people to handle logistics (processing applications, mapping the layout, getting permits and insurance, setting up stages, trash collection, and more.) We meet once or twice per month while communicating via email between times.
It's fun to participate along the way. (And you get a free t-shirt!) See Committee Volunteers for more information.
Day Of Operations
If your schedule doesn't permit a long term commitment, there are plenty of ways to help us on festival day. Jobs consist of marking booth spaces, handling morning setup, manning barriers (greeting those walking in) and welcome/merchandise tent, emptying trash bins, taking photographs, evening teardown, and more. Commitment includes attending a short orientation meeting and signing up for a 2-3 hour shift.
It's a great way to meet more of your neighbors. (And you get a free t-shirt!) See Day Of Volunteers for more information
